my teachers all called me lazy or unmotivated but i was just getting really frustrated with everything. every time i told my teachers or parents that i found it hard to concentrate they just thought i was lying and just using it as an excuse. due to having some intelligence i was able to cover up many of the problems i have. though once in high school things started to become alot more difficult and more people started to notice problems. though everytime i said i had difficulty concentrating or reading properly again they thought i was just using that as an excuse. finally when i went to see a pediatrician about stomach problems i also told him about my troubles in school and he actually listened to. i am now halfway through year 12 and have been diagnosed with ADHD inattentive subtype in april. school was such a struggle before as i was getting no extra help or support and many people were giving up on me. although i havent been officially tested yet i also have dyslexia.
