My 12 year old daughter has dyslexia, she inherited it from her Dad. It was very obvious in her toddler years that she was not developing cognitively like most kids. For 11 years my husband and I struggled with the school system, optometrists, audiologists, and doctors to find help for our girl. I am a credentialed teacher so I homeschooled her thinking I could figure it out myself, but couldn't. A year ago we found Lisa and her program and it is what saved our daughter. She is back in public school and getting A's B's and C's compared to flat out failing everything. My daughter has her life back.
