Yellowjackets bassist Jimmy Haslip shares his early and formative musical education and experiences just by hearing it from a diverse set of music in their house. When he auditioned and got the spot, he was amazed but he has difficulty in studying so he decided to quit school to pursue being a professional musician. According to him, the biggest and most helpful of all things was finding to motivate himself and to continue practicing.
