Your Key to Lasting Learning Success!
Lisa Harp founded Learning Link Technologies and then the Harp Learning Institute in 2000 after helping her own son overcome dyslexia, ADD, and auditory processing problems. Although she was a credentialed teacher, she had few resources to help him at the time. By using extensive research and practical application with her son, he became an honor student within a year!
As a result, Learning Link Technologies dyslexia treatment has helped thousands of students to become not only honor students, but happy, well-adjusted people. Learning Link Technologies dyscalculia treatment followed several years later after further research. Next, dysgraphia treatment became a factor in students that came into her learning centers, so she added that to her list of specialties. Lisa has designed and implemented three tests: a test for dyslexia, one for dyscalculia, and one for dysgraphia that will not only show parents and educators signs of dyslexia and symptoms of dyslexia, dysgraphia, and dyscalculia, but avenues to help them overcome these learning disabilities. There are so many students with dyslexia that it is crucial that parents are aware of dyslexia symptoms as well as dysgraphia and dyscalculia symptoms.
Lisa has been a certified teacher for over 30 years. She holds degrees in both English and Education as well as certificates in Brain Integration Therapy from Rebecca Kennard's Brain Transformations (Original Brain Integration Methods from Dianne Craft, MA, CNHP), Accuspark with Brain Integration, CLAD (English Language Development), Kyrene Elementary District Reading Instruction Certificate, Advanced Peer Coaching as well as extensive training in vision therapy.
The Harp approach is different than traditional learning systems or programs. By going to the root cause of the problem, learning disabilities and differences can be overcome in as little as 30 minutes per day. The Harp Learning System is tailored to the needs of the student. If the student passes the skill's test, then he/she is done with that skill. By teaching to skills mastery, the building blocks for learning success are laid out, step-by-step. If a student is not ready to advance from a specific skill, then he/she continues practicing that skill until ready.
Lisa created Learning Link Technologies, a company devoted to helping students with dyslexia, and other learning disabilities reach learning success through the same products, activities, and programs used in the Harp Learning Institute learning centers.
Lisa has personally helped thousands of students reach academic success and believes that learning should be fun! 2017 promises to be a fantastic year not only for students attending Harp Learning Institute centers, but those who are at school or home and have parents or teachers who want to help them reach learning and life success!
